Sample 2:
Hello everyone, I’m [name], and I’m applying for the [title] position at your company. I know you’re probably very busy, so I’ll be brief, but let me tell you a little about myself.
I’ve worked in [industry/industries] for the past [years]. My experience has been primarily with clients with similar goals to yours. I want to continue doing that kind of work.

Sample 1:
I’m excited to tell you about myself. I’ve worked in a [position] for the last [years], and I love it. My favorite part of my job is being able to help people achieve their goals by providing them with the information they need to make good decisions.
My biggest strength is that I’m a good listener, making me an excellent interviewer. I need to get to know my interviewees personally, so I always ask questions like “tell me about yourself” and “what do you like most about your job?” This helps me learn more about them, which makes me better at helping them succeed at work.

I love working with new people and helping them grow their skills. When I was in college, I worked as an assistant professor in the educational psychology department at my university. My boss was a great trainer; she taught me how to train students in the best way possible. She also gave me a lot of opportunities to learn from other professors and students in the department.
I’ve had a lot of experience training people on projects that interest me. I’ve even trained myself on some of them! For example, when I started working at my current job, we were working on an application for a new product that had never been done before: an app for teachers to use in their classrooms. We worked together for about three months until we got it right and launched it!
At my last job, another project required me to train others on how to do things like making presentations or writing newsletters. This time around, I’m training myself on how to make presentations and write newsletters (I hope it works out!).
